Ackerman Farms - Pumpkin Patch, Apples, Animals, Decor, Treats & Mums

I needed to get some pumpkins & gourds for decorations outside our house & so one day Oliver & myself ran some errands & then went and spent about an hour & a half looking at animals & picking out pumpkins.

Here is Oliver playing on the patio while I went ahead & got everything ready for our outing. This is a new outfit that he hasn't worn before which is the true reason for the picture, I sewed tucks in the waist to make it more fitting, it was very cute, my only complaint, he looks so grown up :0(

I couldn't stop for long otherwise this is what happened :0) I think he is a little young to do the steering of the wagon!

I set him inside so he could pick himself out 3 pumpkins/gourds of his choice :0)

I let Oliver roam around while I roamed around as well, you can see his red little cheeks, it was HOT that day! He enjoyed climbing all over the gourds & just walking around.

Here is what we walked away with, now if you took notice of the first wagon picture you will see that there are no large pumpkins the same! I spent 45 min. picking out different pumpkins placing them in my wagon only to find something better, returning the 1st & putting the new one in its spot, I could have stayed for a lot longer but I had to force myself to stop looking! So here is our loot :0) (I also got two decorations for inside they were 50% off!)

Pumpkin Festival

This was after the parade, we had to run about 1/2 mile home, thankfully we had our off-roading stroller w/ us!

Waiting in line for pumpkin pancakes & sausage. Oliver loved the sausage & the pancakes were "okay"

Grand Prairie Mall

I took the twins & Oliver to the mall one day to walk around the toys r' us & then play on the CAT playground, They all had a blast! The boys are very protective of Oliver!

Normal Day

This is what happens if the gate it not put up, Oliver will go down the stairs & stand at the door trying to get Monte's attention, it is pretty sweet, I just make sure to put the gate up by the basement stairs!! That would be bad news!!!
