In no particular order these are my memories from our trip with Dusty's family to the Florida Keys. Here's a warning some are happy, some are not, some are gross but most are not :0)
Isaac swam with dolphins & the other boys kayaked by them
Oliver learned to drink out of a STRAW!!!!!
Family time with my boys at the aquarium
Oliver getting soaked by the nurse sharks
Dusty & I kayaking the conversation went like this
Dusty: Hunny stop paddling!
Erin: but you just told me to!
Dusty: Well switch sides!
Erin: But you just said to stay on this side!
See we had this problem where no matter which side I paddled on we went the same way, our kayak was dysfunctional...not us :0)
Our amazing views the whole trip & watching Dusty & Oliver relax & play together was awesome!
More memories (no pictures)
Oliver throwing up on our first flight down
Oliver throwing up on our flight home
Being stuck in Orlando overnight & eating at Denny's
Dusty & Ryan becoming certified SCUBA DIVERS
The boys coming home from scuba diving thrilled (& dead tired)
First day the boys went scuba diving Oliver screamed for what seemed like an hr. straight Aunt Alyssa was the only one who could calm him!
Second day the boys went scuba diving Abe fell & got hurt & cried & then couldn't stop throwing up, I tried to help but just couldn't stomach it
Did someone say Key Lime Pie? I think we had this almost everyday, I realized that I do not like Key Lime Pie (sorry Dad)
Throw Down w/ Bobby Flay - Key Lime Pie challenge, he challenged a shop down in the Keys so as our gift to Dad Dusty & I bought a pie from that place, that night we watched the show to see who would win & afterwards ate the runner up to Bobby Flay's pie
Yummy meals made by all the siblings
Yummy meals out & my delicious Pina Colada's (Virgin of course!)
Getting my big belly tan
Watching Oliver play in the pool & on the steps
Watching Oliver & Abram develop what seems like an actual friendship!
Oliver fell out of his chair one night at dinner (it was a bar stool - very high up) and I caught him mid-air, he would have face planted into the tile floor
Spending time with Alyssa & Mom while the guys were Scuba diving
Starting my Mark of the Lion series - awesome
Oliver & Abram learning new things from each other
I know there are more but I am getting tired of thinking & I feel as if this could be endless.
Thanks Mom & Dad for an amazing trip!
your kayaking stories remind me of our canoeing attempt in tennessee!! many wonderful memories!!
ReplyDeleteSo sad about all the puking!
ReplyDeleteIs this your first time reading Mark of the Lion? You will LOVE them! So amazing. I was going to ask why you didn't get dive certified but then I remembered that you're preggers and they generally discourage diving while gestating. . . : ) You should do it sometime though, it's AWESOME!
