Chicken

I made a yummy recipe the other night that is so simple, fast & convenient that I wanted to share it with all of my blog followers. First I will tell the story that went a long with dinner that night.

Oliver was picking at his food...
Mama: Oliver why don't you try some chicken
Oliver: (picks up a piece of chicken) bawk, bawk, bawk (the noise of a chicken)

Talk about slightly ruining the meal, thankfully I was almost done. I looked at Dusty & said there is something very disturbing about him holding up his food & making the animal noise! Dusty just laughed & kept eating :0)

Poppy Seed Chicken Breasts
10 chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
16 oz. sour cream
1 t. poppy seeds
1 1/2 c. ritz crackers
1/2 c. butter melted

Directions: Layer chicken. Mix soup, sour cream & poppy seeds. Pour over chicken. Crush ritz crackers & mix with the melted butter. Put crumbs on top. Bake at 350* for 45 min. Serves 10 people.

Because that is so large and many of you don't make that much for one meal what I do is this:
3 breasts cut in half placed in a 9x13 pan
1 can soup (b/c what I am going to do with the other half??)
1/2-1 c. sour cream
1/2 t. poppy seeds
1/2 a roll of ritz crackers
1/4 c. butter melted

I hope you try this and enjoy it!!!

  2. That sounds tasty :) Abel does the same exact thing with chicken! He usually asks what it is and when I say chicken, he buck buck bucks! I guess as long as he eats it... :)

  4. Sounds like a recipe I used to make. I should try this. Dan and I talked on the way to school today about how fun it was to hear Oliver's animal noises yesterday. We also like how he points to what he wants.
