Oliver, Oliver, Oliver

He has developed a new career - a Chef. He cooks, all day long. He stirs things up & then brings the spoon over to me to "taste" it then I say "mmm...yummy" he smiles really big and "tastes" it also and go "mmm". It is very cute, it also creates a big mess around the whole house though. He also loves looking in the oven & watching things cook!

Lounging & enjoying his new favorite snack - Anderson ultra thin pretzels. Thanks Great Aunt Diane you're the best!!

He has also decided he would like to be a pack rat/homeless person some day. Just about every morning he collect everything he can & puts it in his car, once he finally gets in and shuts the door he sits their for a minute or two with a look of accomplishment :0)

Daddy puts lots of bubbles in the tub & he loves it. If you look close you can see he has a bubble beard :0) Story Time - The other night almost all the bubbles were gone except a few & dusty was getting him out of the tub when all of the sudden the bubbles started coming towards him (Oliver), he started to cry & then dusty showed him that by hitting the bubbles it breaks them up & they aren't scary anymore & then he kept hitting them (the bubbles) :0)

He has tried a lot of career's in his little lifetime & this might be one of the shortest - snow shoveler

the longer including: carpet cleaning, chef & homeless person

New Happenings:

Oliver in one day has done 3 new things all in one day!!

1st thing - He learned to tear up his crib. He removed part of his bumper, he also stuck his leg in between the rails & got it stuck, eventually he got it out, by himself. then proceeded to throw all of his favorite things out, as he stood there vigorously shaking the side rail (this part is not new) I finally went in & realized he had also pooped his pants. At least he kept his clothes on :0) - I saw most of this by looking through a tiny crack in the door.

2nd thing - I was folding laundry & he learned how to climb onto our new chase. He moved his chair close enough to it & climbed on up, once he got onto it he looked at me like he was such a big shot, it was very cute! The not so cute part is that he likes to RUN all over it, it is leather & slick, I am just waiting for him to fall...

3rd thing - This is probably the best/funniest thing. I was cooking dinner & Oliver was complaining so I went and put in a dvd, it was actually just music to a dinosaur book (kinda really boring) While in the kitchen I heard it stop playing & assumed he hit the stop button (not rare) As I kept cooking all of the sudden I heard his Praise Baby (his FAVORITE dvd & that is an understatement). No one else was home except me, Oliver & Monte. I walk into the family room & he has not only taken out his dinosaur dvd but he has put in Praise Baby (it was in the dvd case) & started to play it!!!!! Shock was an understatement to my reaction, I stood there just smiling & went back to dinner :0)
