Week 14 - 3 1/2 months

Today I had my 14 week appointment, I was at the office for about 2 hrs. b/c I heard there were a lot of babies (in tummies) that were not cooperating! Thankfully my peanut (yes that is what I have chosen to call him/her) was doing great! As I sat waiting I read Dusty's PDP (Performance Development Program) all 17 pages, typed! Well at least I had time to read through it & it helped me to understand more about his job.

Anyways, I finally got into my appointment, got weighed, shrugged & proceeded to the next waiting room. My blood pressure was great & the babies heart weight was great as well, it was hard to get a good listen b/c the Peanut kept moving!

As I waited for my Dr. to come I ate a candy cane, it was NOT very yummy but I was bored & hungry. Finally Nancy comes in, not a doctor, but she said she knew I wanted to get out so she was going to see me so I didn't have to wait any longer. She was very nice! She did express some concern though about my weight, I have yet to gain any weight I actually keep losing but this time I only lost 1 lb :0) so I thought I did good! Anyways I guess now they will monitor my weight gain until I start gaining, I'm fine with this though I didn't gain weight with Oliver until about 5 months I think & the doctors weren't worried then so no reason now, I guess this is just how I am pregnant, some people gain fast some don't!

Anyways here is a picture of myself at 14 wks. I look forward to watching my tummy grow! Oh did I forget to mention I can feel the little Peanut move! (YAY)
